Life Goes on...
Did you know a party or an RTC bus is the best place to observe people and their emotions? Yeah! Right from the young to the old, everyone seems to be in a different frame of mind. The events just prior to their boarding the bus or driving to the party; Imagine a fight or a special moment with a loved one, news of a promotion or an upgrade in salary, some body's death, birth of a baby, a cousin's wedding, or just a blank frame of mind! A drunk man, a senior citizen, a school kid, an enthusiastic businessman, a socialite, a writer, a ponderer, a housewife, a politician, a teacher, an actor ...a mixed bag, ain't it? It definitely is!
My favourite time of the day has always been the morning or the time when they just turn on the lights in a bus, when the sun is about to set, between dawn and dusk, a time we call twilight. As I look out of the bus window, someone is playing their heart out, another is slogging for his daily wage, a drunk is walking the streets singing to himself, the watchman turns on his lights, shops switch on their flashy bulbs, an old couple is taking a stroll, while a loner is just admiring nature and brooding over life. How diverse in activities yet how common in physical faculties. Come what may, life just seems to go on for all of us. Everyone is sometimes so absorbed/lost and preoccupied with their own life that we don't tend to look around. We loose sense of emotion, it seems to be I,Me and My Life all the time, while we have the whole wide world alive in front of us!
Life can never stop, be it after a bomb blast or after the daily morning prayer the student has to go to school, the barber to his shop and the child to its mother. Because we can stop or wait for none, if we can catch up well and good otherwise men/women walk at their own stride at their own pace because life still goes on!
